Beyond is a luxury private members’ club for entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals. We launched its founder’s YouTube channel from nothing. In 60 days it passed 30,000 subscribers, and its first nine videos have been watched 2 million times.

You can’t show what it feels like to be in the room with a paid ad. You can with a 25-minute film.

01

The brief

Beyond came to us with a problem most founders eventually run into. A high-ticket membership, a serious network of entrepreneurs, and a founder, Paul, who knew YouTube was the right move. What they didn’t have was a channel, a system or a single video live.

Most agencies would have said start small. Post weekly, iterate for a year and grind through the awkward early videos. We said the opposite. A members’ club for entrepreneurs can’t launch with a beginner channel. It has to look like it already belongs in the room.

So we went all in: big trips, big stakes, cinematic production and a clear promise in every title.

02

Bringing in David Dobrik

To reach far beyond the club’s own network, the channel collaborated with David Dobrik, one of the biggest creators on YouTube, with more than 17 million subscribers.

What $720,000 Gets You in Cannes passed 500,000 views, and put Beyond in front of an audience that would never have found a private members’ club on its own.

The results

In three months, the channel went from zero to 2 million views across nine videos. The latest, My $500,000 Safari Week, passed 400,000 views in its first two weeks.

Every video is a long-form film, often 25 minutes or more, so those views are hours of attention on the Beyond experience, from exactly the kind of people the club wants to reach.

How we do it

Advertain runs the channel end to end. Not as advisors, but as operators on the ground, on every shoot.

01

Title and thumbnail first

We lock the title and thumbnail before a camera turns on, then shoot to deliver on them. Big, clear numbers, under 55 characters, and thumbnails modelled on the biggest outliers in luxury travel.

02

On the ground for every shoot

Oscar and the Advertain team fly out for the trips: directing, filming with multiple cameras and capturing a full week of footage.

03

Coaching the talent

Paul had never been on camera at this level, and English isn’t his first language. Oscar demonstrates each intro, Paul repeats it until it’s natural, and the crew stays out of the way so he can be himself.

04

Edit for watch time

Every edit is built to hold attention for 25 minutes: a strong opening, a clear story across the trip and moments that pay off the promise in the title.

05

Test, learn, repeat

A/B testing on titles and thumbnails, then a performance review after every upload that feeds straight into the next video.

Why the budgets make sense

The numbers in the titles are real. They cover the whole experience: the villas, flying out a curated group of entrepreneurs, the crew and a full week of filming. They pay for themselves.

Beyond sells a $25,000 membership. Twenty new members covers a trip. The very first vlog generated enough new members to break even, and the videos keep working long after they go live.

That’s the part most brands miss. A film at this level isn’t content marketing, it’s recruitment. Viewers spend half an hour inside the experience, with the conversations, the places and the calibre of people in the room. That’s why leads from these videos arrive warm and close.

06

Why it matters for CMOs

For a premium brand, the question isn’t whether YouTube works. It’s whether you’ll commit at the level it takes to win.

Content that sells itself

For a premium product, the film does the selling. Someone who has watched 25 minutes of the experience arrives already convinced.

Borrowed reach, owned audience

Collaborations with creators like David Dobrik bring millions of new eyes. The channel is what keeps them.

Compounding, not rented

Paid media stops when the budget does. A library of long-form films keeps finding new customers for years.

Premium from day one

The first video sets the bar. Launch looking like the top 1% of YouTube and the audience treats you that way.
