Cookie Policy

Which cookies and similar technologies the Advertain website uses, and why.

Last updated: 1 October 2026

What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as browser storage, work in the same way. Some are essential for a site to work; others are used for analytics or advertising.

The short version

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website. The only cookie we use is strictly necessary to keep the site secure, so UK law does not require us to ask for your consent before setting it. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.

Cookies we use

CookieProviderPurposeTypeHow long
_cfuvidCloudflareHelps tell real visitors apart from bots and protects the site and its forms from spam and abuseStrictly necessaryUntil you close your browser

When you load a page with a contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile also runs a short security check to confirm you are not a bot. It is used only for that purpose.

Third party content

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and our contact section shows a map from Google Maps. To deliver these, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address. In our own checks these did not set cookies, but Google may set its own cookies if you interact with the map or are signed in to a Google account. Google's use of that information is covered by its own privacy policy.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block the security cookie, some parts of the site, such as the contact form, may not work properly. The UK Information Commissioner's Office explains more at ico.org.uk.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them.
